Sexual health is not just about preventing an STI or an unwanted pregnancy, but also refers to sex being enjoyable and pleasurable, and that it occurs without any type of duress, discrimination, or violence.

Centre for sexual health is located at the Lijnbaan 32 in The Hague behind the Medical Centre Haaglanden (MCH). When entering the car park of the MCH, you will find the entrance to the centre for sexual health on your left. Look for the pink and blue logo of the clinic.
Opening hours of the centre

The centre for sexual health is open Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 16.30 hrs.

Closing dates

The centre for sexual health is closed on the following days:

  • Monday, April 17th 2017 Easter Monday: closed all day
  • Friday, May 5th 2017 Liberation Day: closed all day
  • Thursday, May 25th 2017 Ascension Day: closed all day
  • Monday, June 5th 2017 Whit Monday: closed all day
  • Monday, December 25th 2017 Christmas: closed all day
  • Tuesday, December 26th 2017 Christmas: closed all day

Costs

The tests at the centre for sexual health are free-of-charge including the treatment of the most common STI. If you are referred to a medical specialist, that medical care is not free of charge but can be declared on your regular health insurance.
